Ecuity completes national rollout of Smart Call, mobile Voice over Internet Phone (VoIP) service, includes a virtual PBX
Ecuity, Inc., (OTC BB: ECUI.OB), an end-to-end unified communications and technologies company serving the small-to-medium business and residential markets, today announced that it has completed the national rollout of its mobile Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service called Smart Call(TM), which enables users to call any cell phone or traditional phone anywhere in the world from a PC or Pocket PC-compatible devices such as laptops and PDAs with a broadband or wireless connection.

Users can now select telephone numbers in more than 2,500 locations across the United States. Additionally, users can maintain multiple phone numbers from multiple areas.

In addition to individual calls, a virtual PBX enables users to gain remote access to their office PBX system through a Web interface. The remote user can then make calls to both other Smart Call users and 4-digit office extensions.

To introduce new users to Smart Call's capabilities, Ecuity is offering a trial of 100 free minutes. Business users or consumers can test drive the Smart Call service by visiting the Ecuity Web site, www.ecuity.net to sign up for a free trial of 100 minutes of talk time and a no charge download of the TeleSym software onto a laptop or Pocket PC-compatible device.

King Cole, Ecuity's president, said, "We believe that Smart Call is the most convenient, versatile and easy to use mobile VOIP available for both businesses and consumers because it connects callers to any regular or mobile phone worldwide. As the first company to offer this service to the millions of mobile workers using laptops as well as Pocket PC-compatible devices and PDAs, we are delivering on our promise to our customers to provide the most powerful, secure and easy-to-use broadband telephone service available today."

Depending on the calling plan, Smart Call single user or multi-user PBX features include:

- Free in-network calling
- Caller ID, call waiting, call hold and three-way calling
- Automatic call forwarding
- Incoming calls ring multiple phones or numbers
- On-screen keypad dialing, including volume control
- Dialing directly from Outlook(TM) Contacts list
- Voice mail messages delivered as talking emails.

Smart Call delivers call quality that is equal to or superior to fixed phone service, with a range of service plans featuring numerous included features and fixed minute or unlimited long distance for local, national or worldwide calling at rates as low as 3.9 cents per minute. Introductory calling plans begin as low as $15.00 per month, with unlimited domestic long distance available for $30.00 per month. Smart Call is available virtually anywhere in the country and in international markets today. It takes only a phone call to 1 866-41 VTONE (1 866-418-8663) to arrange to install service or secure a custom solution quotation.
